Vintage Wedding Hairstyles
We all know that our hair is one of the things we worry about most and on your wedding that worry is magnified a thousandfold, so how do you get the beautiful vintage hairstyle on your wedding day to go with the to die for vintage dress and accessories that you have in mind?
There are plenty of gorgeous vintage wedding hairstyles, depending on what era you are looking for;
1920′s – 1930′s hair – think flapper hair styles, Mia Farrow in The Great Gatsby, lots of finger waves and short bobs adorned with plenty of headbands and lace caps ( juliet cap) for brides.
1940′s & 1950′s hair is all about high glamour and roller set do’s. Think hollywood starlet, Rita Hayworth, pompadour hairstyles and soft curls.
With any vintage hairstyle, it was a definite style, time was taken to get the look just right and there was no just wash it ad leave it! Sounds like hard work doesn’t it?

What beautiful hair do’s! It has me thinking for my own wedding now. And my Mum had a lace juliet cap in the late 60′s for her wedding. She looked great. Fantastic look never go out of style!
